Mega Day Camp at Faith Family is FREE and FUN summer opportunity for community families.

Children entering grades 1-6 are invited to Faith Family’s “Zoomerang” Mega Day Camp. Our approach is a bit different than a typical week of VBS in that a child chooses one track for the whole week. As each child engages in their track he or she learns a life skill while also learning about our great Creator and Savior!

*** New This Year*** If your child refuses to participate in the track for which he/she is registered, we will need to call you to come and get them. We cannot use our volunteers to watch over them as the volunteers are needed to help with each track. Thank you for understanding.

What classes/tracks are available for 2022?

ARTS+CRAFTS: (entering gr 1-3) Children will have fun with a variety of art projects and fun crafts  THIS CLASS IS FULL AS OF APRIL 5, 2022

BEGINNING SEWING: (entering gr 4-6) The class will be taught basic sewing machine skills, ending the week with making their own custom apron. (Please let us know if you have a sewing machine your child can use. We do have a few extras if needed)

GLAMOUR+GRACE: (entering gr 4-6) A fun track for girls who will learn that beauty begins on the inside, and that each of us is precious in God’s sight.

GYMTASTICS: (entering gr 1-6) Children will learn cartwheels, round-offs, cheers, and basic gymnastic skills. On Friday, the whole class will present a short program for the other campers.

KIDS IN THE KITCHEN: (entering gr 4-6) Basic kitchen skills will be taught, along with meal planning and recipes “from scratch!"  THIS CLASS HAS ONE SPOT LEFT AS OF MAY 3, 2022

NATURE EXPLORERS: (entering gr 1-6) A park ranger will lead this group as they learn all about God’s wonderful creation! Up close encounters with quite a few animals is always a treat.   THIS CLASS IS FULL AS OF APRIL 5, 2022

OUTDOOR GAMES: (entering gr 3-6) Skills at games and good sportsmanship are the main emphasis in this track. Students are asked to bring a water bottle for the week to make sure they stay hydrated.

YOUNG BUILDERS 2, FLIGHT!: (entering gr 3-6) In the past we have offered Young Builders, but this class has a totally different approach! Children will enjoy this hands-on journey through the constructing of flying objects. Whether it is 1/4” off the ground or hundreds of feet in the air, the theme of this class is “All things airborne.” Children will learn to safely use simple tools and there is no prerequisite.  THIS CLASS IS FULL AS OF

***BE ADVISED*** All tracks are filled in a first come, first serve basis. Please understand we limit the capacity of each track based on room size, volunteer availability, and type of track. If your child’s first choice is already filled we will place them in their second choice, if that choice is filled we will move to their third choice. Thank you for understanding.
