Quail's Hume 2021 spots are limited and are on a first come, first served basis this year only. Your registration will not be complete until we have received your KidCheck registration AND your $100-per-camper deposit (if registering before May 14) or full payment (if registering on or after May 14).

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT HUME 2021

- Due to COVID-19, there is a possibility camp may be cancelled or may operate at a reduced capacity. It is important to note that Hume has not spoken on this; Quail merely wants to prepare for any potential situation.

- If Hume operates at a reduced capacity and we cannot take all who register, we will take campers in the order that they registered (using the deposit time stamp), maintaining age and gender ratios as needed and appropriate.

- Hume may institute safety protocols at camp - masks, social distancing, etc.

- We may not know about cancellations, capacity reductions, and safety protocols until closer to our camp date.

- It is your responsibility to make sure your KidCheck account is up-to-date, especially your email address, cell phone number, cell phone carrier, and notification enabling. If anything changes, please update your account ASAP. We will be sending out communications (emails and texts) through KidCheck, so your information must be accurate and communication enabled or you will not receive these notifications.

- Quail-provided transportation is optional. If you wish to utilize Quail's transportation, an additional fee will be required. See below for pricing information. Note that masks will be required on Quail-provided transportation.

- Regardless of your transportation choice, each camper MUST come to Quail the morning of June 20, 2021 to do the REQUIRED health screening. If a camper does not do this, Hume will charge us a fee, which you will be responsible for paying.

PONDEROSA is for campers ENTERING grades 9-12 in the summer/fall of 2021 AND graduating seniors

Financial assistance (Quail Campership) is available if needed. An application will need to be completed by April 1, 2021. The application can be found on the Hume page on the Quail website, qlbc.org. Please read the letter included with the application completely and carefully for details and eligibility requirements.

*Important note for those who have special diets: Hume charges an additional $50 for campers who require a special diet (gluten free, dairy free, vegan, etc.). This transaction will be taken care of later on Hume’s website, not through the church.

1. Complete KidCheck registration.

- Please select the appropriate camp/group for each child based on the grade (s)he is ENTERING in summer/fall of 2021.

- IF THE GROUP YOU WISH TO REGISTER FOR IS FULL, please do not select a different group. Instead, email humeinfo@qlbc.org to be added to the Wait List. Include your name, camper's name, camper's gender, camper's current grade, and your best phone number in the email. You will receive a confirmation email within 2 days. If spots open up, we will place campers in email-receipt order, maintaining grade and gender ratios as necessary. No payment is needed until a spot opens up for your camper.

2. Pay the $100 per camper deposit - due upon registration if before May 14! (On or after May 14, full payment is required at the time of registration.)

- You can access this PDF document at any point during the registration process after logging in. You can still access it after you have registered your kids as long as you don't log out. You can always log back in using the registration link on qlbc.org to access this PDF later, too.

- Please make this payment as soon as you have finished KidCheck registration. Please do not make this payment before registering on KidCheck in case camper spots are full.

- You MUST include the camper's name(s) in the memo field when making a payment.

- ACH is preferable, but you may also use a credit/debit card. There will be a 2% convenience fee for card transactions.

- Please pay no more than the $100 deposit at this time if registering before May 14. (If registering on or after May 14, full payment is required.)

- No deposit is needed for Wait List spots until a spot opens up for your camper.

3. Complete a Quail Campership application, if financial aid is needed, by April 1, 2021.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:

- Deposit of $100 for each camper will be due upon registration if registering before May 14 or your spot will be forfeited. If registering on or after May 14, full payment will be required at the time of registration. This payment is to be made using the link in the PDF in the "Important Event Documents" section of this registration (once logged in).

- The remaining balance will be due by Friday, May 14, 2021*, or your spot will be forfeited. *If you register on or after May 14, full payment will be required at the time of registration.

- Payments are to be made to QLBC (exception: the “special diet” fee). Please plan accordingly—there will be NO exceptions to the deadlines. You may pay by ACH or debit/credit card (note that there is a 2% service fee for card transactions).  

- You MUST include the camper's name in the notes/memo line when making a payment.

- Due to our obligations with Hume, there are five important facts to know:

 1. NO REFUNDS on deposits (unless camp is cancelled or capacity is reduced and your camper cannot attend).

 2. Payments are due in full by May 14, 2021. (If spots are still available after May 14, you may still register for camp, with full payment will being due at the time of registration.)

 3. Any spot not paid in full by May 14, 2021 will be forfeited. (This does not apply to spots registered for on or after May 14, as full payment will be due at the time of registration for those.)

 4.  If your student is sent home ill or for disciplinary action, there will be no refunds of any kind.

 5.  If your student withdraws from Hume prior to camp, we will not issue a refund (less deposit—see #1) unless we are able to fill the camper spot.

- An Annual Health Form and a Consent, Registration, and Medical Treatment ("permission slip") form are required for each camper and will be due prior to departure for camp. These forms will be available at a later date. We will notify you when they are available. 

- Please see the Camper Information Sheet on the Hume page at qlbc.org for important information not listed here (check-in info, bus info, mail info, activity pricing, packing list, etc.). Print this document for reference and for your records.

- Once your information has been entered in Hume's system, you will receive an email from them with links to complete THEIR online forms. Please complete these forms ASAP using the code provided by Hume in their email.
