Youth Pursuits' StepUp! Youth Leadership Program is designed for students entering middle school through high school to provide opportunity for students to live out their faith through teaching, mentoring, and leadership. Students will be empowered and equipped to assist Salem staff and interns with Youth Pursuits Camps throughout the summer.

The StepUp! program begins with a mandatory training for students to receive instruction in large and small group teaching, leadership, and team building. The training dates are:

*June 12, 9am-1pm for High School Step Ups
*June 16, 1-4pm for Middle School Step Ups

Students will be equipped to assist with the following Youth Pursuits Camps:
VBS, June 23-27, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Wonder Camp, June 23-26, 12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Pet & Play Camp, July 7-10, 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Art Expressions Camp, August 11-14, 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Interested StepUp students should view and complete a StepUp! application form and submit it upon registering (see KidCheck attachment for application) - or by May 1. Registration is incomplete without the StepUp application. The cost for the StepUp! program is $75 and includes leader training, a maximum of 4 camps (including fieldtrip fees) and a reward day.
