This Summer we are stepping through the mist, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees and colorful creatures. 

At Rainforest Falls VBS, we will be plunging into a life-long adventure, discovering the nature of God, and exploring what it means to be rooted in a relationship with the creator, a safe place in life's storms. It is our prayer that each child finds roots in the fertile truth of meaningful, life-changing characteristics of God - our creator who knows us and will love us forever! 

DVBC's Rainforest Falls VBS is for ages 4 to entering 5th grade. 

We offer two separate VBS programs (Preschool and Elementary) that run simultaneously. 

PRESCHOOL: For kids age 4 through entering kindergarten

PRESCHOOL CREWS - We place kids in crews of 4 with mixed genders and ages. Crews rotate through stations where the station leaders do the teaching/guiding (Our sticky scripture rotations, craft and play, rooted Bible adventures, wild games, and treetop treats) 

ELEMENTARY: For kids entering 1st grade through entering 5th grade

LOWER ELEMENTARY CREWS - We place kids in crews of 5 with mixed genders and mixed ages of entering 1st grade through entering 3rd grade. Crews rotate through stations, where the station leaders do the teaching/guiding. (Our sticky scripture rotation, imagination station, rooted Bible adventures, wild games, and treetop treats) 

UPPER ELEMENTARY CREWS - We place kids in crews of 5 with mixed genders and mixed ages of entering 3rd grade through entering 5th grade. Crews rotate through stations, where the station leaders do the teaching/guiding. (Our sticky scripture rotation, imagination station, rooted Bible adventures, wild games, and treetop treats) 

NURSERY - We offer childcare for nursery through 3-year-olds for our adult volunteer's children only. We must have a parent/legal guardian volunteering on campus for VBS, to enroll a child 3-years-old or younger.

PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING

-Our opening and closing are high energy, with bright lights and loud music. If this is something that might be a concern for your child, please let us know in the "Comment" section on the additional registration info form, we will do our best to accommodate your child to make this an enjoyable week for him/her. 

-By registering your child, you give DVBC permission to take and use pictures that may include your child (no names disclosed) for slideshows, distributed in parent emails or on DVBC's website or social media. Please put "YES" in the "Media Release" section on the additional registration info form, to show you understand and agree. 

-We encourage NO FRIEND REQUESTS so that everyone is "new" and no one feels left out. Kids are really good at making new friends, if we give them the opportunity. While this is our preference, we understand some children may need to be in the same crew or at least same group (that rotate together). Please email our Director at gluginbuhl@dvbcbcaz.org if you have questions/concerns about your child's crew placement. 

-Snacks will be provided each day at VBS. Below are the ingredients for each day. Please provide an alternative snack to your child's crew leader or our nurse (labeled with their name and crew name) should your child not be able to eat the snack provided. We also request that you bring a labeled water bottle each day for your child. Thank you!

-Our Wild Games 20 minute rotation for Elementary, is outside on the lawn. Please send your child with their name labeled water bottle every day. 

Your child may get wet! Please have them dress appropriately. 

-A $6 additional purchase option for the VBS Music CD will be available when paying for registration. 

-Our program ends promptly at noon each day. Please make proper arrangements to have your child/children picked up on time each day.
